There is something rewarding about walking past a project that I was involved in.. I think it is a sense of pride and accomplishment. Primarily known for our architectural services, it isn’t as widely known that we also offer structural engineering services. This includes structural design, documentation and certification for new projects and renovations. It also includes structural inspections of existing or unauthorised structures. 

Because we have a structural draftsman in-house we are taking the structural components of the project into consideration from as early as the concept stage. This often results in cost savings for the client as we are conscious of financial components and don’t solely favour the aesthetics. We want to do our best to ensure that our designs are functional and financially viable and proceed to construction.

We offer structural services for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Every morning Franklin and I get to walk past this project that is being completed by Maximum Fencing for the City of Mandurah. This is the third stage of a project of baseball nets for Diamond Sports located at the Lakelands Park Sporting Facility, across from the Lakelands Shopping Centre and adjoining Coastal Lakes College.

This project was out of the ordinary and required some changes to the design due to site conditions (limestone) but we didn’t let that deter us. We overcame the conditions by working with the contractor and certifying engineering.
